Kaitlyn Hunt was arrested and charged with two acts of lewd and lascivious battery. She was also expelled from school. And the roar started. You see, Kaitlyn is a lesbian.
Kaitlyn’s sexual orientation doesn’t matter to me, so when I first read all the outcry, I was horrified. And then….
Kaitlyn hunt was 18. The law is such, that 18 year olds having sex with 14 year olds is not okay. To make it clear, the law states that an adult performing sexual acts with anyone under the age of 16 is illegal. I’m not here to opine on whether the Florida law is ridiculous or not. It’s the law.
I also found out the school has a code of conduct. Originally, the administrators were sympathetic to Kaitlyn and allowed her to stay in school. However, the school’s code of conduct does not permit sexual acts to be performed at school. The punishment…expulsion. The school board chose to expel Kaitlyn for violating the code of conduct.
As I sat here scratching my head, I started to get angry. The many lettered organization (LGBTwhateverelse), has demanded that their relationships be treated just like heterosexual relationships. And when we do? They scream anti-gay bias.
You see, if Kaitlyn had a penis and was named Karl, this wouldn’t even be a news story.
Kaitlyn’s mom has screamed that the victim’s family is extremely religious and hence, anti-gay. Maybe they are anti-sex before marriage. None of that matters. She broke the law, and when questioned she said “I didn’t think about it because _____ seems so much more mature”. She didn’t say she didn’t know how old she was, just that age never really crossed her mind. We wouldn’t accept that from a guy, so why are we to accept from a girl?
If a heterosexual couple was found having sex in a locker room at school and they were expelled, no one would scream about bias.
My point? Put up or shut up. If you want people to treat your relationships like they would everyone else’s, you fall under the same damn rules everyone else does too. And when an older student gets out of hand, your community should be condemning the behavior, not making excuses. Kaitlyn should have known better. It’s what we’d expect from an adult male.

And we file this along with the other numerous reasons on why my children will never attend a public school and why they will be home schooled.
And in other news…. Kids in LA can tell their teachers to fuck off and instead of getting suspended? They do something called restorative punishment where the teacher and student talk about their feelings…. wow.
she stands up for me on ask.fm
shes just an ugly bitch & should kill herself. How about I shove my boot up your ass? Shut the fuck up. My little sister is fucking perfect, in my eyes. Yeah, we’ve had problems, but she’s family, and I love her to pieces. So why don’t you fuck off?WHAT. YOU ARE THE BEST.

This is ‘Murica you all must speak ‘Murican!!!!!!
I remind my english speaking friends of this all the time.
MMFA thinks 15 year old girls are young women and should be able to exercise their personal responsibility.
They think 26 year old women are children, entitled to stay on their parents health insurance plans and have taxpayers foot their bill for their birth control.
WTF?
special-snowflake-hall-of-fame:
Feminist organises a Take Back The Night rally to highlight rape culture after receiving a rape threat… with a plot twist.
Meg Lanker-Simons (Her tumblr here) received a threat of rape on a facebook page for her university. She then quickly organised an event to highlight rape culture. Police then discover she posted the threats… to herself.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHA REALLY YOU’RE THAT DESPERATE WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST HAVE THE FUCKING PROTEST HAHAHAHAHA!
-Liv
Oh good god
reallyto herself
I can’t facepalm any harder. Her url is pretty apt I’d say. From wiki:
Cognitive dissonance theory explains human behavior by positing that people have a bias to seek consonance between their expectations and reality. [snip] This bias sheds light on otherwise puzzling, irrational, and even destructive behavior. [x]
She hates rape culture so much, so she manufactured an example of its manifestation JUST so she could protest it. Yet this makes the threat of rape just a means to the end for her, and makes it less likely for anyone to take such threats seriously. Unbelievable.
Hey, as an ex feminist who was deep into the social justice culture and knew a lot of the people very intimately within it… I will admit I did similar things and feel like shit for it, and many many others have admitted to sending death threats, rape threats, etc to themselves online. Regardless of whether or not SHE did it, it does happen at an alarming rate to drudge up support.
I’m not proud of the things I did in my activist past, but I’d like to use it to bring to light the horrible human beings that are taking over this country. This woman probably did post the threat herself. There is very little doubt in my mind. I hope this is the first of many such cases being brought to light.
I honestly have no response.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Who the hell sends fake threats to themselves online? Shameful and immoral activity.
I like the person who said this does great harm to those who actually suffer from rape. The more people do crappy things like this, the less likely the public is to take rape charges seriously.
I remember when the Ohio case was decided and those boys, who raped a girl and it was on video, basically got slapped on the hand. I wondered if the decisions made in that case were a reflection of the highly publicized Duke Lacrosse Rape case…where the lives of boys were ruined over a completely false rape claim.
Rape is HORRID. There is never an excuse for someone to force someone else into sexual behaviors of any kind. Rape should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It sickens me when someone pulls a stunt like this, because it ends up hurting the true survivors, not helping them.
